In capital's "Kazakhstan" sports complex an open swimming championship of Kazakhstan federation of modern pentathlon has ended.

If during the first day of the competition young sportsmen competed in free style (200 and 100 meters),  today they had to compete in the free style relay (4х100 m and 4х50 m) and in a medley swimming for 200 and 100 meters.

One of those who managed to show high achievements in the final day of the competition became the representative of modern pentathlon Olga Boiko. Yesterday athlete born in 1996 finished second after Yekaterina Rudenko in the distance of 200 meters free style, and today she was the first in medley.

In-fact, I could show an even better time - admitted Olga. – But I am satisfied with my performance anyway. Now, honestly speaking, our state leaves to wish for the better. Soon we are going to train to Issyk-Kul. There we have a serious work to do, because we have to show good results at the upcoming in december Cup of Kazakhstan in modern pentathlon in Almaty. This is going to be our main start. As for yesterday and today we were most likely gaining competitor experience.

– Nevertheless, have you made any conclusions after yesterday's second place? Or did you become the first today only because Rudenko did not take part in the heat?

– Probably, that's the way it is, because Katya is a very strong opponent. She is the participant of the Olympiad in London. Being second after her, I think, is worthy.

– Which place are you hoping to take in the upcoming Cup of the country?

– (Smiles). You know, it's been only four months that I am in modern pentathlon. So I still have a lot to learn. But in swimming I will try to show the best time for sure.
