Kazakhstan sportsman Pavel Il'yashenko showed 18th place result in the World Cup Final in Modern Pentathlon, which was held in Nizhniy Novgorod.

The winner of the competition was sensationally French pentathlete Valentin Prade, who collected 5920 points. In the second place is the Lithuanian Justinas Kinderis (5900 points), and the third was a Hungarian Adam Marosi (5896 points). The Kazakhstani with 5636 points came of second best in final on 284 points.
