Vice-President of the Asian Modern Pentathlon Confederation Berik Imashev took part in the election of the President of the Confederation, which was held in South Korea on July 18 of this year.
One of the prime candidates for this important position was Mr. LEE Jai-yeong, the president of the Korean Modern Pentathlon Federation; he is also the president of the «Korea Land and Housing Corporation». This company is the largest national organization sponsoring the Asian Confederation Modern Pentathlon and the Korean Modern Pentathlon Federation since 1987 in Korea.
All six countries including Kazakhstan, South Korea, China, Japan, India and Kyrgyzstan, presented at the Congress, unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Mr. LEE Jai-yeong.
Secretary-General, Mr. CHOI, as a chairman of the Congress, declared that Mr.LEE Jai-yeong officially takes office as the President of the Asian Modern Pentathlon Confederation from the day of his election to the post that is from July 18, 2013.
Ex - President of the Asian Modern Pentathlon Confederation Mr. LEE Jisong resigned last month for some personal reasons.
