Two days of competition of the Open Cup of Kazakhstan Federation of Modern Pentathlon in swimming and biathle (running + swimming) among boys and girls has been finished in Astana.

The Open Championship was attended by about 180 young athletes from Astana, Almaty and Temirtau.

There were both very young, and candidates for master of sports  among the participants. For some it is the first event in life, for other - it's another opportunity to gain experience.

Among boys born in 1998-1999 the first place came to the residents from Temirtau Yevgeniy Malakhov and Konstantin Kachura, third place went to Ruslan Ramazanov from Almaty. In the "C" age group (2000-2001) the first two places went to Astana team: Yegor Lomakin and Dias Sailau, the third - Almaty's Nikita Tebenkov. Among boys in age of 11-12 years the "gold" was won by Duman Yessengali (Astana), "silver" - Daniel Khachataryan (Astana), "bronze" - Nicholay Starodubtcev (Temirtau).

Among women born in 2000-2001 the prizes were taken by Astana`s residents Kamila Uzdenbaeva and Arina Petrova. In the «D» age group (2002-2003)also the  athletes from Astana - Yulia Demchenko, Dariya Ganinets and Zarina Ibrayeva.

Hopefully, one day one of these young athletes glorifies Kazakhstan to the whole world.
