Results of Open Cup of Modern Pentathlon in swimming and biathle (running + swimming) among young athletes, held from April 11 to 12, 2014 are summarized in the state capital.
Among the athletes of group "B" in swimming for the distance of 200m in freestyle and the women's 2000 meters distance the leaders became athletes from Temirtau Yevgeniy Malakhov (8:51.80), Konstantin Kachura (8:58.29) and Almaty`s resident Ruslan Ramazanov (9:21.34).
Winners among youth group "C" (born in 2000-2001) at a swimming distance of 100 meters and running for 1000 meters the winners were Yegor Lomakin (4:23:56), Dias Sailau (4:27:52) and Nikita Tebenkov (4:36:03).
Prizes among youth group «D» were taken by Astana citizens Duman Yessengali (3:32:58), Daniel Khachatryan (3:37:07) and Nicholai Starodubtsev (3:38:93).
Among women born in 2000-2001 the first position was occupied by astana`s residents Kamila Uzdenbaeva (5:19:84) and Arina Petrova (5:20:80). In the age group «D» (2002-2003) the winners became the athletes from Astana - Yulia Demchenko (3:49:50), Dariya Ganinets (3:52:23), Zarina Ibrayeva (4:05:30).
Among the students of specialized Youth and Children`s sports school of Olympic reserve born in 1999 and older in the swimming competition for 200m in freestyle the winners were Aigerim Iskakova (2.15.72), Diana Taurbaeva (2.20.11) and Dariya Malikhina (2.21.53). At the same distance among the boys born in 1997 Riat Zhumagulov (1.59.89), Konstatin Limarenko (2.00.70) and Georgiy Kolesnichenko (2.00.75) brilliantly performed. Among the athletes born in 98-99 the winners become Adilbek Mussin ( 2.04.81), Yevgeniy Batalov ( 02.07.77), Roman Smerdov (2.13.07).
Athletes of 11-12 years age group Veronica Jordan (32.43) , Yulia Demchenko (32.55) , Dariya Ganinets (34.66) showed the best results on the 50-meter freestyle. Among young athletes in this category the first three places` holders are Ian Savitski (34.17), Yernar Nadyrbaev (34.30), Maidan Ossipov (34.71).
Among the athletes born in 2004 at a distance of 100 meters freestyle the athletes Diana Taszhanova (1.14.39), Yekaterina Bolgarskaya (1.36.19), Dayana Temirbaeva (1.39.92 ), among boys - Abilnur Zhumagazy (1.20.06), Zhangir Murat (1.20 .10) and Vlad Sokolovsky (1.27.16) made their best progress. At the same distance among young pentathletes born in 2005 Kiril Lyubimov (1.30.45) , Alibi Irgaliev (.38.10) and Alexander Yermakov (1.39.18) got the cups.
Young talents have shown excellent results and special tenacity to win. We wish them further success and rapid sport growth!
