Success at the Asian youth championships, where our athletes faced competitors from 8 countries, including the strong schools of Uzbekistan, India and Thailand, confirms that the development of the youth reserve is on the right track. The current results of Diana Shchedrova and Sabina Akhmedina give reason for optimism about their prospects as they move up to older age categories.
For the Federation, this tournament was an important test of the national team's nearest reserve.
