From February 3 to 9 Almaty hosted the Open Winter Championship of Kazakhstan Pentathlon.
In the men's competition the top three winners were: Rustem Sabirkhuzin (5844 points), Pavel Ilyashenko (5800 points), Ivan Yershov (5704 points).
In the team standings:
1) Sabirkhuzin - Ilyashenko - Yershov (17348 points);
2) Zimarev - Sukharev - Tyurin (16640 points);
3) Sozinov - Tanatbaev - Kushnirchuk (15584 points).
Among women the winners were Yuliya Kolegova (5708 points), Arina Dzhiyenbalanova (5492 points) and Kseniya Aleksandrova (5316 points).
The winners in the group "A": Valeriy Uvarov (3804 points), Olga Boiko (3644 points) and Ardak Akhidullaeva (3620 points).
The winners in the group "B": Fariza Orumbekova (3442 points), Sulamif Ananeva (3332 points), Yerkezhan Sabyrbaikyzy (3268 points).
The first place in the competition among juniors was taken by Ivan Yershov (5704 points), on the second- Vlad Sukharev (5532 points) and the third winner was Denis Tyurin (5484 points).
In the team standings:
1) Yershov- Sukharev - Tyurin (16720 points);
2) Sozinov - Tanatbaev - Kushnirchuk (15584 points);
3) Sobolev - Lyakh - Koshelnik (14452 points).
