Silver medal in the mix-relay

Kazakhstan`s pentathletes Leonid Zimarev and Yulia Kolegova won the silver medal at the Asian Championship. On the last day of the Asian Championships the competitions in the mixed relay were held.

Totally, our country was represented by three pairs of athletes and L.Zimarev and Y.Kolegova, R.Sabirkhuzin and X.Alexandrova, A.Soldatov and D.Khalzova. Our first pair scored 5784 points and lost only to a pair from China - D.Go and K.Jang (5840 points). The third place was taken by the athletes from Korea - D.Choi and M.Jong (5684 points).
