The Pearl of Kazakhstan is hosting a major sports festival. From July 2 to 6, the 2025 Open Biathle & Triathle Asian Championships will take place here — a tournament that will gather the strongest athletes of the Asian continent and become a true test of strength for both participants and organizers.
Disciplines and Format: The Championship, organized by the Modern Pentathlon Federation of Kazakhstan, combines the most dynamic disciplines of this sport:
- Biathle: A continuous sequence of "run — swim — run".
- Triathle: A complex format including laser shooting (run — shoot — swim).
Spectators can expect exciting races across several age categories. The program includes not only competition days but also official training sessions and important technical procedures.
More Than Just Sport: For Kazakhstan, this championship is not an ordinary event, but a strategically important organizational exam. International delegations and representatives of the UIPM (Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne) will evaluate everything: from the quality of infrastructure and safety to the level of service and the professionalism of the judging corps.
Successful hosting of a tournament of this level will strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the global UIPM community and provide a powerful impulse for the development of mass disciplines — Laser Run, Biathle, and Triathle — in the regions of our country.
