Second Polish National Ranking Competition this year has finished. In Drzonków athletes not only from Poland, but also from Kazakhstan, Germany, Belarus and Czech Republic took part. The women’s competition was won by Aleksandra Skarzyńska, while the men’s was won by Ivan Yershov.
The women’s competition started with fencing. The best in this event was Anna Maliszewska, who won 24 out of 30 bouts. Second place was taken ex aequo by Deborah Schöneborn and Anna Samalova – both had 22 victories.
In swimming the winner was Xeniya Atamanskaya, who had result 2:14,28. Only 0,09s slower was her compatriot Olga Boiko. Third place was taken by Jolana Hohsakova, who had the best time (2:13,06) but got 10 penalty points. In the overall classification Maliszewska saved her leading position, with Natalia Hachulska and Claudia Knack behind her.
Maliszewska, however, did not start in the next to events – combined and riding. The lead was taken by her compatriot, Aleksandra Skarzyńska, who made the best result in run and shoot – 13:00,76. Second in this event Pia Adermann was over 32 seconds slower. In the overall classification Hachulska and Knack saved her second and third position respectively.
Both however failed at riding event and were eliminated and fell down in the classification. Skarzyńska gained 286 points which was enough to save the leading position and win the entire competition. Second place was taken by Eliska Pribylova, who had third best result in riding (293 points), while Deborah Schöneborn was classified third (286 points in riding).
In swimming, that opened men’s competition, Michał Gralewski was the fastest with time 1:58,44. Second, with the result 1,96s worse, was Ivan Yershov and third place was taken by Martin Bilko, who was 2,03s slower than Gralewski.
Fencing was won by Sebastian Stasiak, who gained 34 victories in 42 bouts. Second place was taken by Dmitriy Koshelnik, who had 2 victories less, while on third place Martin Konvicka and Krzysztof Kuruc were classified ex aequo – both won 30 bouts. In the overall classification Stasiak took the lead with Yershov and Koshelnik behind him.
In the combined event the best time was achieved by Piotr Lara (12:02,96), but only 0,50s slower was Martin Bilko. The Czech went up to the third place in the overall classification after this event, just behind Stasiak and Yershov.
Stasiak, however, was eliminated in riding and finished the competition on 21st position. The winner was Ivan Yershov, who gained only 7 penalty points in the last event. Second place was taken by Łukasz Klekot, who had a maximum result of 300 points in riding. Martin Bilko saved his third position, that he held after combined event, with 279 point in riding.
