In the capital's "Kazakhstan" sports complex an open swimming championship has started.

An opening speech was given by the President of the Kazakhstan Federation of Modern Pentathlon Berik Imashev. In the competitions, which are held under the patronage of Kazakhstan Federation of Modern Pentathlon, the participants are young men and women of several age categories (born in 1994 to 2003). Guests of the tournament were sportsmen from Almaty.
