Pavel Ilyashenko in a bitter struggle got his victory in individual event at the Asian Championship, held in Astana.
Our pentathlete, gaining 5792 points, becomes the champion of Asia for the first time. The second place is taken by athlete from Japan - Shohei Iwamoto (5780 points) - the third athlete is from Korea Jinhwa Jung (5748 points).
