Yesterday, on September 28, the qualifying events of the II Youth Olympic Games from Asia and Oceania were held in Astana.
Let`s remember, the athletes, born between January 1, 1996 to December 31, 1999 perform at the II Youth Olympic Games. The competition was attended by 19 athletes from six countries: Australia, Kazakhstan, China, Taipei, Kyrgyzstan and South Korea.
At the end of the competition two athletes won their vouchers to the next competitions. The first place among young men is occupied by the Chinese athlete Li Shuang, who collected 4600 points. At the second place is the athlete Jilung Park, who collected 4508 points.
Among the girls, the Chinese athletes Danny Wei (4040 points) and Lishan Jeng (3912 points) were the strongest one.
