Congress of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon (UIPM), which was held in Larnaca(Cyprus), approved international competition calendar for 2014.
Major launches for the best pentathlon world, as usual, will be the stages and the World Cup Finals, the Kremlin Cup and the World Cup. In addition to traditional tournaments, the calendar of youth will have a complement - pentathlon competition (or rather, the quadroathlon) in the program of the II Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing (China). We note that the venue for some of the major events such as the UEFA European adults or World Junior Championships currently has not been identified.
