IV International Tournament in pentathlon "Kremlin Cup" completed in Moscow that gathers the strongest pentathletes of the planet.

The men's competition was won by Russian Alexander Lesun, one of the leaders of the current season. Among women, the best was the Olympic champion in London -2012 Laura Asadauskaite from Lithuania. The Kazakhstan pentathletes have not been lost in such illustrious company. Thus, the current Asian champion Pavel Iliyashenko, who soon turns 24 years old, finished in 18th place. A 21-year-old from Almaty, International Master of Sports Arina Jienbalanova became 11th.

Also this year, the Kazakhstan athletes planning to participate in the Open Cup Central Asia in Bishkek, the traditional international tournament - the Memorial of Amangeldi Imanov in Kapshagai, the World Championships in Warsaw, the Asian Games in South Korea, Yuriy Khorishko`s Memorial in Bishkek. The team mentors of the RK pentathlon Vadim Chudnovsky (head coach); Dmitriy Tyurin (men's team coach) and Valeriy Kashelskiy (women's team coach) suppose high results of their charges in the current season, taking into account the positive dynamics of their growth from year to year.
