Kapchagai completed a summer outdoor championship of the RK in Modern Pentathlon.
The program includes: fencing, shooting, swimming, horseback riding and combine (running and shooting). 22 girls and 40 boys from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan attended the competition.
As a result of competition among the girls Julia Kollegova with 5128 points won the first place, Darya Khalzova took the second place with 4972 points, the top three was closed by Xenia Alexandrova with 4884 points.
Among the boys, first place went to Dmitriy Koshelnik with 5404 points, the second place was taken by Igor Sozinov with 5252 points, Denis Tyurin with 5232 points was on the third place.
In the team competition the winners were Kazakh pentathletes, including Andrei Soldatov, Rustem Sabirhuzin, Dmitry Koshelnik with total scores of 16632 points.
The second was the team from Russia: Andrew Pankin, Alexei Lebedynets, Rinat Ziyatdinov, eventually scored 16548 points.
The third place among the best teams was taken once again by Kazakhstan team of Igor Sozinov, Denis Tyurin, Leonid Zimarev. In the overall the team scored 15664 points.
Let me remind that the favorites of pentathlon Arina Dzhiyenbalanova and Pavel Ilyashenko did not take part in the tournament for health reasons.
